Introduction

At The Gentle Vasectomy Clinic® we encourage patients to have their consultation and their vasectomy procedure all in one visit. Most men have already decided to have the procedure when they call, and they prefer to have it done promptly with the least time necessary to complete it.

We are certainly willing to accommodate men who are interested in gaining further information prior to making a decision. For those men, we will do a consultation then plan the procedure for another day when he is ready to take that step.

It is important for men who are having the consultation and procedure all in one visit to realize that we cannot always perform the vasectomy as planned. If there is a history of injury, surgery, or a pre-existing condition in the genital area, we suggest a consultation visit prior to arranging a date for the procedure. Although thousands of vasectomies have been performed at our Clinic, occasionally we encounter a man coming in for the consultation and procedure who has a condition requiring cancellation of the procedure. We can arrange a referral to a urology specialist within a reasonable distance from our Clinic to have the vasectomy performed.

We strongly request patients to send in their information to us before arriving for their appointment. This allows us to use our time together in the office more efficiently and effectively to serve patients better.

Our website is very secure and safe for sending private financial information such as credit card numbers.  At no time is this information sent on the internet as an email.  We work strictly from the secure database on our server and print directly from there.
